forms and enterprise fields

hi,
im tryin to create a form which will have data input from the users. when i
add any Enterprise Project Text field, the user is unable to enter
information into it. also when i add the field to the form, it goes in as
"Show as static text". i do not know why this is the case. please help as i
need to enter information into the Enterprise Project Text fields via forms.

Few things to remember:
1) The Enterprise Project Text field should be free form (Means no dropdown)
2) Form should be in enterprise global to be available for all users
3) If you are using macro to add the value in the field use
Activeproject.ProjectSummaryTask.EnterpriseProjectText1 (I am assuming you
are using enterprise Project Text1) Change the text number as per your
requirement

hi dale and gaurav,
thank you for the response. i did create the custom form under the
enterprise global template (ie i logged in as admin and opened the enterprise
global template.) i just noticed that i am creating a custom form under TASK.
as i can see, i am unable to create a form under PROJECT. what i mean to say
is there is no such option. there are only Task and Resource available. so
yea, i am still unable to add any information to the Enterprise Project Text
fields view a custom form created under the TASK option when i go and click
Custom forms. also the text fields i am using DONOT have drop down menus. any
further help would be much appreciated. thank you.

Given the fact that forms restrict you to Task and Resource fields only, it
would probably be the simplest to teach your users to click Project -
Project Information to enter the information in the Project fields. Hope
this helps.

hi dale,
thank you again for the reply. my users are doing this rite now but find it
unorganized since we have MANY fields to be entered and they are all over the
place. so i am trying to create UserForms and integrating them into
msproject. any help to the questions in the developer section of this site
that i have posted would be much appreciated. thank you
