Forms Authentication (2007) versus Project Server Authentication (

Is Form Authentication in 2007 different from Project Server Authentication
in 2003?

Is there a configuration setting like in 2003 which allowed for managed
security Windows and/ or Project Server Authentication. Is that
configuration option still available?

If so, I'm wondering why when I set a user to Form Authentication in 2007 I
do not get prompted to provide a password.

Forms Authentication very difficult to set up in Project Server 2007. Have
you actually set this up in your system? From your description, I doubt it.
If you have not done so already, refer to the following URL for Microsoft's
directions for enabling Forms Authentication:

Microsoft has removed Project Server authentication from Project Server
2007, so your choices for user authentication are limited only to Windows
user account authentication or Forms Authentication. Hope this helps.
