forms confirmation default

I have a feedback form which opens up with a default confirmation page once
the informer depresses the "submit" button. I have been able to get it to
post the results in a file and also send an email to me with the
information. I have FP2003.

It's been awhile, but when I had FP 2000 I was able to get that program to
not open up a confirmation page. It put the information in a file, or on a
page, which the informer did not see when the submit button was clicked. It
simply sent the information and then reset itself. For the life of me I
can't remember how I got it to do it.

I've tried with FP 2003 but I can't get this current program to do it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Bob

Set the confirmation page to itself.
Not recommended as it can lead people to think that the submission
didn't "take" and resubmit it causing you to get doubles or even
triplets of the same information.
Best is a simple thank you page, that is what people are used to see.

Jens Peter Karlsen,

Since the only ones who will be using the form will be family members I
would like to set the confirmation page to itself. Can you give me
instructions on how this is done? I had a go at it and couldn't get it to
work.

Thank you,

Bob

Dear Dave,

Thats not what he said. He said to "Set" the form page to itself, not "make"
the confirmation page the form page. The latter is entirely different and
not what I am trying to accomplish. But thanks anyway.

In the Properties for the form set the forms page as the confirmation
page.
