Forms locking

HI set up form in word - now everytime I open up the form
it is locked and the toolbar that is suppose to "unlock"
forms is shaded except for the "A" for shading. I tried
opening up previous examples of this form that had been
filled in and they are also automatically locked and no
way to unlock - can't save as and get around it either.
Help if you can.

I suspect you have a password set. Try Tools => Unprotect document.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
