Paul

I created a form in my FP website.

In the "Form Properties" box, I added my Email address.

But when I click OK , I get this message:

"This form cannot be configured to send results via email.
The web site may be located at disk-based location, or on
a server that has not been configured to send email.
Contact your system administrator." " Would you like to
remove the email recipient? " Yes or No?

Iam puzzled why this message comes up before I upload the
form.
I have hosting service at www.1and1.com and FP extensions
are activated.

Can you help?

With my kindest personal regards.
Paul

Hi Paul,

This is a standard message you will receive when saving your form to your PC.

It is simply a reminder the form must be published to a server with the FPSE installed. The answer to the prompt is "No".

Additionally, the FrontPage form relies not only on the extensions, but also publishing with FrontPage to http location.

Hi,
If your Fp ext. check out okay if using IIS, make sure your SMTP server address is correct. If all is, then you most likley have a version issue, meaning your service.cnf file needs to be edited and it could be your site is on disk base instead of remote server. check those out...I came across the same problem and on the phone with Microsoft for over an hour to help
