I am trying to set up a graphical Indication using 'Finish Variance" as my
source.
I have done the following to try and accomplish this. If some one sees a
mistake I have made or a better way to do this, please let me know.
1) Open Enterprise Global and create a Custom 'Project Field' as a 'Number '
type.
2)Rename the Enterprise Project Number 1 to Project Status.
3) Select Formula
4)Using the Field Drop down box I select Date>Finish Variance and then O.K.
5) Select 'Graphical Indicator'
6)In the 1st row I select 'less than' and enter 3 in the
"value" column and then select a graphic from the image drop down.
7) In the second row I select 'greater than or equal to' and enter 3 in the
"value" column.
8) Click O.K.
9) Open a project and republish to get new data on server.
10) I add this new column to a view in PWA and it shows the same graphic
whether the value is 0 or 10.
When I go back into the project the value shown in the Project
information box, for this field, is 0. But if I add the Finish variance
column to the current project view it shows 3.88. Should the value in the
Project Info box and the variance column be the same??
I have no idea if I am missing a step here or what. Any help would be
appreciated.
