formula as a text

What function (or trick) could I use to get a formula as a
text?
I want to check whether in the path included in the
formula the name of a spreadsheet is correct (I think by
using FIND).

um, I could be wrong about this, cause I may misinterpret what it i
that you're asking, but if you want a formula to appear "as is" in
cell, but not perform it's formula "duty" just type ' before the equa
sign and the formula will as text, when you want to change it back s
that it does it's formula "duty" just get rid of the '

...but if you're wanting to check to see if a pathname in a forumula i
correct you can just click the cell and look at the formula of tha
particular cell in the formula bar too

I just want that some formular in another cell like Find
could read this formular as a text.
