As far as I know Access does not have a formula bar. What you should do
depends on the specific situation. What exactly are you trying to do?

There is no formula bar. Access is not a flawed implementation of Excel; it is
a DIFFERENT program with DIFFERENT features and kinds of controls. It's not a
spreadsheet, it's a relational database development application!

What you should do is learn how Access works, and work with it rather than
struggling to make it into "Excel on steroids":
