Formula Building in Excel 2007

I have a database and want to know if there is a way to build this formula
without typing this in:

Countif([January[Category],B6)

Category is a heading in the column of the January Database. I can't figure
out anyway to "point-and-click" that in. Obviously I can do it the way I did
it prior to 2007, just point to the column K:K. But can you build a more
descriptive formula automagically?

With all due respect, I don't think that is what the person who originally
constructed this formula did. There is no name category. It is just part of
the table that is setup in Excel 2007. My question still stands, "How do you
create this without manually typing?" Named ranges is not the answer I am
looking for, I don't believe. However, I will check with the person who has
the spreadsheet and see if that is the case. THanks for you help.

You can do it but you need to name your range. i.e. column H will be named
as January, column ?? will be named as Category. take a look to Debra web on
