Formula crash

I just installed Office 2008 and updated to 12.1.2. Excel crashes when entering any formula, both in the formula bar as on the sheet itself.

Could you please send me the entire crash log from the Microsoft Error
Reporting information window? (send to (e-mail address removed))

Also, does Excel crash if you just type a number or text, or only when
entering formulas?

Lastly, what happens if you quit all Office applications, trash the
following files:

~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Excel.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.office.plist

And then relaunch Excel?

In the mean while, I tried reinstalling again. Before updating, Excel 2008 does not crash on entering a formula. As soon as I update to 12.1.0 SP1, 12.1.1 and 12.1.2, Excel crashes.

Thanks Bram. I've received your full crash log and am investigating.

So far, I haven't seen other reports of this. If anyone else is seeing this
crash entering formulas, please let me know.
