I have a field, DATE_INVOICE. I would like to be able to look at today's
date and have the db return only the most recent date.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

To get today's date, use the Date() function. To select the record(s) with
the most recent DATE_INVOICE, use the Max() function. For example, in a
query ...

SELECT Date() AS DateToday, Max([DATE_INVOICE) As MostRecent FROM
YourTableNameHere
