I am looking for a formula in excel for the following here is the layout
A B C D E F G
1 35% 25% 20% 20% 100% (Cell E1 totals A1 to D1)
2 B A B D ? (Cell E2 is the formula
i need)
-Cells A1 to A 4 will have a percentage in it that the user can change but
must always = 100%
-The percentage in A1 will be the weight (total value) of cell A2 & B1 will
be for B2 and so on.
-Cells B1 to B4 would have one letter in each cell & the only letters used
would be A,B,C & D
- Need a formula for Cell B5 to show what the sum would be by show it a
letter A, B C or D.
- If needed for the formula A= 1 , B =2, C=3, D=4
