formulas from 2007 to 2003

C

confused!!

are formuals in 2007 compatible with 2003 with the exception of saving the
worksheet as compatible with 2003

Chip Pearson

Excel 2007 added some new formulas (IFERROR, SUMIFS, and others) so
these will not be compatible with 2003. Also, functions that in 2003
and earlier were part of the Analyis Tool Pack were made native
functions in 2007, so in 2003 you'll have to load the ATP.

Chip has given you a full answer but you might also need to know that XL2007
allows full column references in array formulas. So in XL2007 I can use
=SUMPRODUCT(--(A:A="Apple"),
--(B:B="Granny Smith"), C:C)
This will not work in earlier versions
