hI everybody:

how can I locked only a few cells with formulas without protecting the whole
sheet so can others edit the ws without messing with the formulas????

I'll appreciate all the help.

The only way to do this is to protect the cells you don't want people to
alter. Use Format-Cells-protection. Then unprotect the rest of the cells
using the same dialog. Then protect the sheet. Now the user can alter only
the unprotected cells. An added advantage is that the TAB key will skip to
the next unprotected cell.

thank you very much.. i was doing half of what you said i just had to un-lock
the rest of the cells.
