Formulas not showing

When I click Tools, Options, View, Formulas it doesn't
show the formulas. Can it be disabled some where else?

Richard,

You don't say if the formulas are visible in the formula bar, or when in
Edit Mode. One possibility is that the cell(s) are set to "Hidden"
(Format - Cells, Protection), and the sheet is protected (Tools, Protection,
Protect sheet).
