Formulas to the Clipboard

M

Meg Az.

Why is it that a formula copied to the Office Clipboard is copied as a value rather than a formula? When you want to paste, you get a constant number rather than a formula. Pretty irritating

Thanks in advance for your response(s)

Meg,

Press F2 to enter edit mode, then select the formula and use Ctrl-C to copy
the formula.

Then when you paste, you'll get the formula.
