Formula's won't work

D

D. Longton

When I enter any formula in a cell, VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE,
etc... the formula shows in the cell, but doesn't calulate
and pull back the result. It looks as though you hit CTRL
+ ~. Although I didn't.

I've tried:

copy / paste special
CTRL+ ~ and back

PLEASE HELP!

Probably the cells were formatted as text before you entered the formulas.
Format as general and re-enter the formulas (F2,ENTER)

I forgot to mention that I also tried formatting the
cell/column in every way available. Also RE-entering the
formula after reformatting. I've tried what you suggested
with no luck. Any other idea's?

MANY thanks!

It has to work, unless the cell is formatted as text. Are you preceding the
formula with an equal sign (=)?
