I am learning Access and have converted my Works data bases to access. I
want to know how to put a formula in a field within a table. Am I even able
to do this?
No, you are not able to do this in Access.
Access is different from Works.
In Access you would store in your table the data you need to make
computations.
Then in a query, on a form, or in a report you can do whatever
calculations you need. That calculated data is not to be saved in a
form. If you need it again next week, re-calculate it.
