Forrmula Formatting question...

Ok here is the formula:

="Cost of Additional 1% "& SUM(K3:K17)

I am trying to get the Sum piece to show as currency. Any help is
appreciated.

(or whatever format you want)

Try this:

="Cost of Additional 1% "&TEXT(SUM(K3:K17),"$ 0.00")
