Forwarded mail has outgoing server address as From

I have 2 clients, and myself, that use OL 2007 and have this problem:

Occassionaly when forwarding messages the FROM info is changed to be the UN
of our outgoing smtp server.

We use the smtp server of our internet provider. We have found , sometimes
the forwarded the message does not show our address.

Clues?

This is in the From of the forwarded message.

Michigan Oil and Gas Association [[email protected]]

The email address should not be this. How do I stop this.
