How do I stop forwarded messages from re-appearing in my in-box ?

I am switching from OutLook Express and am going crazy! whenever I send a
message, it re-appears in my in-box as well as in the sent-messages folder...
Please tell me how to stop this action...

Tools->options->email options. Turn off the option to keep a copy in folders other than inbox.

Oh Dear... I guess I am not makig myself clear. here goes again... when I
reply to a message, and then "send" it, the sent message appears in 2
places... the "sent" folder and also the "inbox folder. I do NOT want it to
come back to my in-box .. how do I prevent sent messages from also being
delivered to my inbos.
