Forwarding an email with large Win Media player file attached.

I cna receive mail with large media player file attached. The issue is
forwarding and sending. I received a 9 Meg media player file and watched it.
Closed it clicked forward. The forward window opened, I filled in my wife's
adress and hit send.
During the send process I revieved an error message the server timed out and
was unable to compelte sending. I have a 3 meg DSL line so that shoulld not
be an issue as recvieing works excellent. I manually stopped transmisson, in
the mean time wy wife received 18 copies of the message with the file
attached. Normal mail works just find sending and forwarding. Does any one
have any idea what is going on?

Thanks inadvance.

This is not the right newsgroup to be asking general email questions.

However, your email provider might limit the size of the attachments you
send in your email. There might be a different limit in the size you can
receive.

Good luck!
