Okay I have read for hours in this group about other people having problems
forwarding messages with Outlook 2003 which contain attachments. I too am
having a couple problems which I can't find an answer for in other messages
on this board.
Here goes: When I recieve a message from a buddy which was a forward of a
forward of a forward (as they usually are) and they final message contains an
attachment, I have to open up every original forward message. Questions #1
is there away to turn this off and just have the entire contents show up
similar to the way Yahoo mail works. Example: In Yahoo when you open a
message which was forwarded several times before getting to you, it will
display all the other forwards as a whole rather than individual messages (I
hope this makes sense).
Number 2: Now when I want to forward this message on to other friends, the
attachment either never goes, or shows up as a winmail.dat What do I do to
resolve this problem.
I have already read about changing settings to use either HTML or Plain text
and to NOT use RTF formatting. So this is what I have done. I switched
everything to send as Plain text and HTML with the same results (a
winmail.dat file). I also read that the message formatting could be adjusted
for individual people in the address book, however I can not find anyway to
adjust it by address book entry.
Any help is appreciated!!
