I have two scenarios I'd like to present for anyone to answer. They are as
follows:
1. I have a user (running Outlook 2000 w/ SP3 and all updated hotfixes) who
is trying to forward an email message from an external user with a 5MB jpeg
attachment. But as soon as he opens the email and clicks on the Forward
button, he gets the error "You do not have sufficient permission to perform
this operation on this object. See the folder contact or system
administrator.". As a workaround, I recommended saving the attachment and
creating a new email, then inserting the saved attachment. Anyone have any
clues?
2. My next issue is a branch office we have that connects to our corporate
office via a NetGear Firewall/VPN device connected to a Westel DSL modem.
The first user who logs in and connects to our Corporate office via VPN can
connect to Outlook and forward and reply to email messages with no problem.
Anyone in the office who connects after the first person, can receive email
messages and send messages, but forward or reply to messages. They get an
error message saying "Network problems are preventing connection to the
Microsoft Exchange Server computer". I have confirmed that the network
adapter binding order has the active network adapter at the top of the list.
I have deleted the profile and recreated it with no change in the results.
If anyone has any input or has experienced either one of these issues and
successfully resolved them, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks in advance,
Vincent
