Forwarding rules

Somebody here posted a question about a forwrdaing rule
not working. The response was that exchange or the isp
may not be set up to allow forwarding to the internet. I
am having the same issues, but am not running exchange. I
have outlook xp. I don't think the isp would be involved
as outlook just creates and forwards a new email, so to
the isp it just looks like an outbound email, or am i
wrong. Any ideas?

You're correct - what happens when you try?

The message does not get forwarded. The rule is set to
forward and then move to a folder, the move goes well,
but no forwarding.

Try a test rule that just forwards...not moves. See if that works. Do you
have "stop processing more rules" specified?
