Found a way around the Unhandled Exception on WSS Wizard, but now.. (help, please!)

Hi everyone

Well I've been fighting this Unhandled Exception issue on Project's
WSS Wizard (the one on Setup), which as many of you know -even though
there seems to be no official response from MS as of yet- is a nasty
one.

Basically running the WSS Configuration Wizard on Project Server
2003's setup program will result in a nasty Unhandled Exception error,
complete with stack trace and all sorts of coding nasties.

Just yesterday I found out by chance (I don't think I'd read it
anywhere) that WSSWIZ.EXE (the Wizard application) will take a '/?'
switch, and display a screenful of options you can use with it-
essentially allowing for command line usage.

So after a few tries I DID manage to get things set up (or so I
think), but now on the Admin page in Project Server, when trying to
enter the proper URLs for Sharepoint (I've installed and unpackaged
the Sample Data, BTW), I get a 'Project Server cannot connect to the
specified Web server
running Windows SharePoint Services. Please check the HTTP
protocols and the port numbers in both URLs' message, and as much as
I've tried, I'm still stuck there.

I can't really for the life of me figure out what's going on here, so
I'd appreciate any advice/comments/ideas, etc.

Thanks in advance, regards

Damián

Certainly not here in the STS newsgroup as Project Server 2003 doesn't
include STS.
