FP 2000 Publishing

Hi
I have a continued problem with FP2000. I can do
everything from my other PC on XP no problem but not from
my older pc running Win98. I can't publish or open a web
from an HTTP source. I have checked permissions, my
passwords and sign ons are ok, disabled my firewall, re-
installed fp2000. I can import my site but then of course
lose all of the navigation and themes etc. When trying to
publish I get the message "NTLM Authentication Failed
(code 2146893042).
Thanks

I took some quick glances at the KB database and found a
slew of articles dealing with these types of issues- I
searched off of NTLM 2146893042. I did 2 right away which
were 98 machines using FP97 & FP98- it ends up being in the
network properties of the 98 machine dealing with client for
microsoft networks issues.

Here is the results page (probably wrapped)

Have you checked you network connection setting under IE, specifically for
connection to the network. I no longer run any machine with Windows 98, so I
can't give you any specific directions.

All I am trying to do is to publish or open the existing
web to or from my external host. There must be a setting
somewhere unique to this PC which is holding me back. I
can use other PC's to do achieve what I am trying to do.
Keep 'em coming!
Thanks.

Have you check your IE network settings? Do you have any other PC with
Windows 98 the work, that you can compare the IE network connection settings
with?
