My ISP is Verizon. I didn't know AOL did DSL, I thought they were just
dial-up? I can give you my URL but how can you tell what I am trying to
change, if I am unable to change it? LOL.
Because if you tell me your hit counter for example is now supposed to be
there but you can't see it but I can ... I can tell you and that lets you
know it's your problem not the browser in general or the server.
Fixed it, sort of. I changed a less complicated page and the changes showed
up, so I went page to the problem page, copied it into a new on with a new
name and it published. It's not the first time I have had to do that. I know
it happened once because I uploaded new pics with duplicate names. I learned
my lesson that time, so I have no idea what I might have done in this latest
case. Are there any other common mistakes that would cause published pages
to
Making new pages with the same content and new file names is not going to do
your seo(search engine optimsation - your standing in the search engines)
any good.
It could be you have not published the page or it's marked don't publish, if
you open your site live on the server (if you have frontpage server
extensions enabled on the server) you can check the orginal page is there
and the page has been changed ....
you can indivdually drag pages across to publish them...
timeouts occur now and again.
The reason I asked about AOL was because it cache's stuff.
You might not have seen changes via your browser if your page was cached
..... clear your fp temp files and your browser temp files.
