FP 2002 keeps crashing....

I have recently installed Front Page 2002 and it keeps
crashing, and wanting to send error reports to MSoft.

Install was a clean one - no problems, and my system is
stable otherwise.

I'm running XP Pro on a P4 3.06 GHz with 1 Mb Memory and
180gb disk capacity. All updates from Windows Update and
Office Update have been applied.

Anyone got any clues as to where I might start to resolve
this?

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all SP for your OS, MS Office and IE

Mine is doing exactly the same thing! Did you ever
resolve your problem? If so how? If not--will someone
out there take my firstborn child in exchange for HELP??!!

It seems that FP did not have SP1 and SP2 applied to it, but other office
products did.....reapplied these service packs and all seems well (at least
for now)......
