FP 2002 not deleting image info completely

Michael

Hi,

I have noticed that when I delte a thumbnail using either cut/copy or
delete that some of the code remains behind.

Wondering if my version is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled ?

Hard to believe that linking code normally gets left behind.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

A thumbnail usually has 2 tags associated w/ it
The image tag and the hyperlink tags (wrapped around it)
Sounds like you are just deleting the image tag
In FP 2003 use the Quick Tag selector to select the out link tag and then delete it

thanks Stefan - you're still there and working hard I see :)

I have FP 2002

Don't remember ever having this problem before.

So how can I delete a thumnail and it's asscoiated link at the same
time? Would have thought that highligthing the thumbnail and hitting
the delete key would have been enough ?

regards,

Michael

No, it will just delete the image (especially if there is a space in the tag)
-switch to html view and delete the link tag

thanks, Stefan.

seems like something that would be easy to add to the program but then
again I'm not a programmer :)
