FP 2002 not opening to last web

FP 2002 is not opening to the last web used, even though option is checked to
do so. I've unchecked, closed, and rechecked, but the only way I can get the
web to show is to click recent webs & click on the last used web

The web must be open in FP, at the time you close FP.

Thanks. My web is open, with folder view and showing all folders and files.
When I close FP, either with X or with file/exit, and with or without
changing anything in the web, and then reopen FP, it's all empty. I have to
file/recent webs to bring up the web I had just closed.

Try Uncheck the option to Re-Open last open web with the site open in FP, close FP. The reopen the
web via File Menu | Open Web, then check the option to Re-Open last Open Web, then close FP.

Thanks. Did this. Still comes up blank. Opened FP, opened web, unchecked
box, file/exit, open FP, file/open web/ checked boxt, file/exit.
Reopening FP still comes up empty. It won't obey. Got a cattle prod I can
hit it with?

The only other thing I can think of, is to do a repair of FP from Help or Add/Remove.

OK, thanks. Repair fixed it. I didn't know there was a repair under help.
As regards FP and other Office Products for future reference do you know if
a repair is the same as a uninstall reinstall, or a lesser fix to be tried
first if it re-installs fewer files?

All Office products have the same set of Repair/Re-Install options
