FP 2002 Permission Prblems

We have users on a Domain here that log onto the network
each morning.

In the computer management for the webserver, I have
created groups for each particular section and assigned
users to these groups based on their Domain accounts.

I have also made a web for each section to store their
particular web pages in on the webserver. I went into FP
2002 and "open web" into each particular web and then
selected "tools" "server" "permissions" to set each web
folders permissions to match the group I previously
created on the webserver that was based on their Domain
login.

The problem is this:

When the user logs onto the Domain, I thought they would
have access to the web folder based on the settings.
However, the users are prompted for a logon when they
attempt to connect to the web folders I set up? If they
try the Domain logon, it will re-prompt them. If they
cancel the logon, they can SOMETIMES gain access to the
web folder?

Did I do these permissions correctly, or is there a step
I am missing or should have done differently?
