When you browse the web in IE it is with port 80 (http)
You are attempting to publish to a ftp (port 21)
- have you allowed ftp in Win XP

| I have grabbed a spare Hard Disk, performed a clean
| install of Windows XP,
| o brought it up to SP1,
| o then loaded Office XP, FrontPage & Publisher 2002,
| o brought them up to date with SP3
| o brought across the Web from the original Hard Disk
| & Uploaded the changes without a hitch.
| o then loaded SP2 and again the same error messages
| appear as above.

| I'm able to access the internet with Explorer without a
| hitch, Email messages either through Outlook or Outlook
| Express work fine (this is with both Hard Disks) yet
| Windows SP2 has altered something to dampen FrontPage
| 2002's operability.
