FP 2003 auto thumbnails & tables

I'm still new to this version and I'm running into a few problems that I can't seem to fix. I've used FP02 for years and loved how it auto thumbnailed items. Use to, I could enter a photo, click auto thumbnail and it would automatically reduce to the size I intended. NOW as I try to do it the same way, the image stays large in the Design view but will show small in preview. These images are in the way and I need HELP fast

ALSO, in FP02 I use to be able to automatically make the rows / columns even but when I attempt that in FP03 nothing happens.... and when I does, the columns are definitely NOT even

Hmm, not sure why thumbnails are that way for you.
For tables, hightlight the whole table and select from the
top toolbar > Table use the expand arrow if necessary and
select >distribute rows evenly > distribute columns evenly
