FP 2003 Dynamic Web Templates

Safetyman

I am a prior user of FP 2002 and I upgraded to FP 2003 today. The help file
states that FP 2003 utilizes Dynamic Web Templates for shared borders.

I could not find any Dynamic Web Templates that installed, nor did I find
any on the Microsoft download site.

Question 1: Are Dynamic Web Templates available?

Question 2: If we utilize Dynamic Web Templates, will we be able to create
menus such as "Xara Menu Maker" creates without the purchase of additional
add-ins or third party Java scripts? (Note: I am not asking if I can use
Xara Menu Maker, I am trying to determine if I need third party menu software
with the new features of FP 2003.)

Thanks in advance for any guidance that you may have to offer.

There are no pre-installed DWTs (Dynamic Web Templates) - you have to build
them yourself.
Open a new page, design it as you'd like all your pages to look (general
layout, navigation, company logo, no real content). Mark editable regions -
those areas that will change on each page; the DWT replaces shared borders,
so the shared border content will be in the non-editable regions. the
non-editable areas will be the same on each page.

Several ready made DWTs can be downloaded from here:

watch for the URL wrapping

You can make fly out menus using the behaviours and layers in FP2003.
