FP 2003 import site problem

I am trying to import my web site via HTTP with FP 2003. When I go thru
the steps to import my site http://www.everything-neon.com , the
program acts like it is going to import it but then does nothing.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be
appreciated.

Don't import it, "Publish" it from the server to your computer.

I keep getting errors when I try to publish. Do you know why I can
import some sites but not others? My site is a Yahoo store that was
created in RHTML and I am trying to import the whole site to Frontpage
2003. At this point I would even pay someone to help. Any thoughts?

What kind of errors??

Import only imports what's visible, it does not import the navigation structure and
associated files.

Can you log onto the site using ftp in Internet Explorer??

ftp://yoursite.com ( without the www )

Then click File > "Log on as" and enter the user name and password.
Then right click the root folder for your web, drag it to the desktop, let go and click
"Copy Here"

Your entire web will then copied to a folder on your desktop.

Because of the way that the site was built with RHTML templates, Yahoo
does not give a way to access it via FTP. I would be happy to be able
to import just what is visible. Do you know why Frontpage will import
some sites but not mine, www.everything-neon.com? Is there some kind of
setting that I need to do?

No, it just depends on how the navigation structure is set from the home page of the site.

Ok Try this, If your site is listed in My Network places.
( if it isn't, add it )
Open My Network Places and double click the link to your web.
You will be prompted for the username and password.

It should then open in "directory view" just as if it is a shared drive.

Create an empty folder on your C:\ drive ( or other location ) and start dragging files and
folders into your open folder.

When you've gotten them all, ( and it appears it's going to take a while )
Open FrontPage, browse to the new folder right click it and select "convert to web."

Then open the web, and click Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Good luck.
