FP 2003 Remote Website Location Dropdown does not populate

D

Dave

In the Website view\Remote Website Properties\Remote Website Location
dropdown does not hold previous publication sites.

This dropdown use to hold sites and allow me to select a site from the
dropdown.

I recently had to have my workstation reimaged and then reinstalled FP, so
it use to work.

I am running XP Pro.

Thanks in advance!

Since you basically have a new OS and a brand new installation of FrontPage, you will have
to browse to and open each site before FrontPage will "remember" it.

The dropdown only holds those sites FrontPage knows about. If your PC
has been re-imaged all that history has been lost. You will have to
type in the URLs by hand, or browse to the sites in IE and cut and
paste the URL from IE's address bar, or if the location is in your
Network Neighbourhood, use the Browse button.

I retyped the sites by hand, but the history or dropdown is not holding any
info except the last site visited.

You have to open/publish to them with FP for FP to remember them.
