FP auto-creating www folder

I've switched to a windows server w/ FP SE, from a unix server. In loading my
site, FP is now auto-creating a www folder (which it didn't create when
uploading to the unix server). It prevents *all but* the index.html *text*
from displaying. No other pages display because the url has a www
subdirectory inserted by FP that should not be there, and has put all my
site's folder into it. How do I tell FP to *not* auto-create this www
subdirectory?

1st make sure you are publishing correctly to http://www.yoursitename.com/ and not to http://www.yoursitename.com/wwwroot/
If you are publishing correctly, the host does not have the server set up correctly to map to the root web - contact them
