I have been using fp 2002 regualarly for years now when I try to acces my
pages it says "the documents in this folder are not avaiable, they may have
been moved etc" But when I use it on my notebook it works fine!!!

What's up with that?

What did you do on your notebook that you didn't do on the desktop?
Upgrades of any kind, adware, spyware, etc.

Nothing! I don't use the note book that much! Iwhen I got the error, I
contacted the server...no porblem on thier end so I tried the notebook and it
worked. I uninstalled FP and reinstalled....same thing! I did a "Ghost"
restore back to June....still not working?????....Very strange! Yet I can
access the pages with Dreamweaver and with the notbook. I tried to "Open
Web" again...similar error files moved, deleted or server error.

There's your answer. There is something on the desktop that installed, but
not on the notebook because "I don't use the notbook that much".

Did you install updates on the desktop as well as the notebook?
I'd start checking your system real good.
Do the usual repairs like deleting all .web and fp .tmp files. A detect and
repair and recalculate wouldn't hurt either.

Okay did detect and repair....same problem! I have had problems with FP
before! This si driving me nuts

We are taking about open the web on a remote hosted server and not one on your local machine,
correct?

Check your firewall setting, and make sure FP has full access to Port 80 incoming and outgoing.
Being able to connect with FTP or Dreamweaver has not bearing on FP being able to connect, since FP
is trying to connect via http (Port 80), whereas Dreamweaver, like FTP applications use Port 21.

Yes that is correct and I am not running a firewall. I have a router that is
also access with the notebook and FP on the notebook is fine

Where do I check the ports?

Ok, are you sure the Windows Firewall is disabled, and if it is do you have Norton or any other app
the could be trying to protect your system installed? Also make sure you are not running the Yahoo
Toolbar (it think) which grabs port 80.

I would never run Yahoo toolbar :), I am positive the firewalls available to
