if there are five sites hosted in an nlb cluster ( win2003 standard, iis6,
fpse 2002 server and fp2003 on the clients ) how does one remotely edit the
five different sites ? technically, each site would have to be edited on two
different servers for the updates to be consistent. and although each server
has a different physical IP, for the nlb cluster the five sites share five
logical/virtual IPs with each machine ( i.e. each site has on IP address that
the two machines in the nlb cluster share ). so if one uses the unique
physial IP of each machine then there is not really a way to designate
between the different sites. and if one uses the domain IP or domain name
that is shared by each site on each machine then only one machine would be
getting the updates. tia, any help on this would be greatly appreciated ...
