Before you open FP
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Also
3) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
4) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
5) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office

| That is what I can not do. it hangs

| I can as mentioned delete or rename a file on the remote server in FP but
| when I hit publish it "hangs"
| By hang I mean it freezes, I can not close it except by task manager/close
