FP Server Extensions

Running FP 2003, I'm publishing my web from my Internet Presence Provider to
my local PC. I'm doing this as a backup. I created a folder in "My Web
Sites" that will contain the web I'm downloading. The first "caution"
message I got was about FP Server Extensions and the functionality of data
captured by a form on my web web.
Question: Can I download FP Server Extensions to a local PC running Win XP
Pro? And does it make any difference - since I'm just "backing up" the web
off my IPP's server?
Thanks, Mark

For a backup, you do not need the extensions on your PC - ignore the
warning. The extensions will only be useful if you were testing pages
locally that need a server.
The only extensions that can be installed on your PC are the FP2000
extensions supplied on the Windows XP Pro CD. FP2002 extensions are no
longer available for download.
