FP Theme banner issue

I created my own theme for FP and it works great. The problem is on my website, I have the main site and then 2 sub sites. The sub sites have their own folders. The problem is the subsites each have a different theme from the main site and from each other, but when I change a navigation bar or a banner on one subsite, it changes on the other sub site as well and I dont want it to.

I have custom link bars set up for each of the subsites, and they keep switching to the last one I used instead of the one for that theme page

Any ideas on how to fix this? It's really getting frustrating to change one page and have to go correct 5 others, and then the one I changed is messed up again.

Do each of these "subsite" folder have a globe on them in the root when you have the site open in
FP? If not, then the problem is that they are just folders in the root web, and theme, shared
border, navigation will apply to content within the root web.

Ok so that answered that. Now when i converted the folders to websites, a screen popped up about files may not upload when I update the site. So I have to upload the subsites separetly from the main site? My server has FP extensions enabled so I just upload from there. Will I have to use FTP on the subsites or can FP do it?

Subsites (subwebs) can published directly by FP if they are opened
- just make sure the publish location is a subweb location
Or from the root web, if you select the include Subwebs/Subsites option

Your host needs to support subwebs - many don't

Thanks. I got it working so FP publishes the subwebs directly. It took a little work with my host support, but we got all the proper directories pointing where they need to go.
