FP2000 - Big Problem - Shared Borders

Please Help, I am ready to scream.

I have a website www.discovercircuits.com created with FrontPage 2000
running on a Windows 2000 machine. Lately I started encountering a
most frustrating problem with shared borders. The borders are on the
top, right and bottom on most of the 900+ pages. Everything appears
fine in the normal normal view so I upload the pages to the host.

When I view from the internet, the borders on many of the pages display
wrong. Sure enough, when I open FP and switch to preview, the border
display wrong on my computer too. They either appear with:
1 - a second right border appears at the bottom of the page or in
the right hand margin. I can see code for the second border and can
manually delete it to fix the problem.
2 - the right border appearing at the bottom of the page (above the
bottom border). When this happens there is no html code to delete.
3 - multiple versions of the top and bottom borders appear.
Sometime I see code and sometimes not.
4 - sometimes the code for the text disappears and all I see is the
coded between <head> and</head> along with two lines of the same
background code.

What gives?

I have recalculated the links and deleted FP temp files - but the
problem presists.

The only solution I have found is to create a new page and copy the
megatags and text table from the bad page to the new one. There must
be a better solution.

Can anyone help me?

Sorry, I made a typing error. I have FP2002 not FP2000. Does anyone
have a solution? Jan
