FP2000, hover button doesn't take me to target link

I created a website, vfwpost10018.com, in FP2000, and put a hover button on
the "Blog" page. I had seen various rumors that this control would only be
usable in IE -- yet, IE is the one browser where it DOESN'T work, for me! It
works fine in Netscape, Firefox, and Opera, but not in IE, and I even
upgraded to v.7 RC1 in an effort to resolve! Some of my friends say it works
for them, but I have yet to see it with my own eyes. I can see the button,
and yes it changes from green to pink, but no matter how often or how hard I
click on it from then on, nothing happens.

FWIW, the other aforementioned 3 browsers are the only ones to recognize my
favicon, too. Not a FP problem, but an annoyance nonetheless. I'm thinking of
changing my browser advisory to read "best viewed with Opera" or something.

Anybody got a clue why this thing won't work?

Thanks,

~~Cheryl

Hoovers are JAVA and require any users to have a Java engine installed and browser settings to not block JAVA
- If using FP 2003 use a Interactive button

Thanks Stefan. Yes, my Java platform is up-to-date and functioning properly
-- the rotating images on the home page require Java, and that's working just
fine. Also, the hover button works in Netscape, Firefox, and Opera, as I
already mentioned. I am using FP2000. What could be the problem?

I see your page correctly in Windows XP, SP2, IE6 (Running MS JVM)

FYI: Just because they work for you doesn't mean they will be viewable for your site visitors.

The only issue I had with it was the 'click to activate'
control
