FP2002 and flow charts.

Can anyone suggest a tutorial for drawing a flow chart in
FP 2002?
I am having trouble getting the lines and boxes to come
together neatly.

Garth

Can I use several hyperlinks in one Visio or Smart Draw
image and can these be pointed at pages in FP?

Regards,
Garth.

Don't do it in FP.

Create the flow chart in Visio, or SmartDraw (excellent
for this) then save it as an image, then import into FP.

Just using the auto shapes in FP.
I asked Crash Gordon about multiple hyperlinks in an image.
Can you help too?

Hi Garth,

What tool is being used to design the Flow Chart. MS
Visio works fairly well with FP.

The flow chart will be altered several times.
Can the hyperlinks be made to move with the chart symbols
rather than a location on the FP page?

Regards,
Garth.

sure! once you have the image (flow chart) into the web
design just make hotspots for each shape and point them to
whatever page you like.

Auto shapes are VML and only work in IE
- plus they are absolutely positioned and "fall apart" at varying resolutions
You will need to use a proper program (like Visio) for your charts

Hello CG.

Thank you for your comments & suggestions.
SmartDraw is interesting, esp the organisation and flow
charts.
I shall give it a try.

Regards,
Garth.

I don't think so. You may need to approach this in
another way if the chart is going to keep changing. Hard
to tell without seeing it. Maybe you can do it with tables
and included content/pages?
