FP2003 hyperlink with ASP

At this URL, http://www.cclweb.co.uk/notjustbooks/Temp/add_items.asp, I am
hyperlinking to another page and passing some data along the link. That
works fine, but I also want to be able to show either a graphic or some
suitable text for the link, but all I can ever get it to show is
<<Identifier>>. Is this possible?

Hi Ray,

Something would have to be done in the ASP page to create graphic link instead of just displaying the identifier.

using the frontpage results wizard, if you double click the <<fieldname>> you
want it should have a dialogue that comes up with two options one of which is
"Make Hyperlink".

Note, that is the FP 2002 instructions - 2003 could be slightly different or
enhanced with respect to making DB fields with URLS as data into actual
hyperlinks (one I would like is if an email address is in the field, then a way
to turn the email into a mailto would be very handy.

Thanks for your reply, but maybe I didn't make myslef clear enough. I've got
the hyperlink working fine, it passes data, but the actual hyperlink
displays the value "1" rather than either some text, like "click here" or a
graphic to click on.

Hi Ray,

In that case, you want to insert your text or image where you want it to
display, and then use the Hyperlink dialog. Click on "Parameters" and then
click to Add Field Value and the fields in your Database Results Region
should be offered as choices.
