FP2003 - renaming index.htm to index.shtml breaks navigation bar

HairPulledOut

Hi

I want to rename index.htm to index.shtml to allow the use of a hit
counter but everytime i try to rename it the home button is removed
from the nav bar. All other pages can be renamed with no problems.

Any ideas how i can do this?

Thanks

Your provider already has a hit counter that will give you all the information
you could possibly need, or if not, it's time to change providers.

Bryan, same answer - look right down in the corner of your screen and it's
right there, or can be!!

Why clutter a website up with things that don't add anything of interest to
the site.

Any tag on the index page other than .html is going to block the site on many
readers anyway
