FP2003 Script Editor v10 does not hit any break points

The Script Editor with FrontPage 2002 worked fine. I recently installed
FrontPage 2003. Now, break points don't work in the Script Editor. I found
one BUG article regarding specific keys in the registry, but the keys
mentioned do not exist on my XP Pro system. Any other suggestions?

If the registry keys don't exist, you need to create them.

The article specified that the fix was to change the value of these keys or
remove the keys altogether. Hence, why would I have to add the keys?

Do you have a link to the article you read??

Yes, below. I also decided to go ahead and add the first key it mentions,
since it doesn't actually say to remove that one -- it only says, "if it
exists". The second key it definitely says it may be removed. Plus, reading
on through the article it does talk about adding the first key. However,
after adding the first key, with the appropriate value and rebooting my
computer, still no joy. :-(

Ah Ok.
Is the Service "Machine Debug Manager" started in Computer Management > Services??
Make sure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Yes, it is already started and already set as automatic. Still no joy. :-(

Ok.
In Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, make sure "Disable script debugging" is
Unchecked.

Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer) is checked
Disable Script Debugging (Other) is not checked

That should be just fine -- right?

S

Yep, it should be.
kind of stumped here. You might have better luck in one of the xp or .net groups.
