FP2003 Startup Problem

Without making any changes, all the sudden, when I start FP2003 the Windows
Installer starts up. It's annoying as He**. I have to hit the cancel button
everytime. After I hit cancel, FP2003 starts up fine and everything works
fine.

Any idea what the fix for this is?

Do a complete re-install via Help | Repair.

No thanks! That's a cop-out-fix ......

You should not have to re-install completely FP2003 for this issue.

Does someone else know what the problem is and can help.

Yep. You need to let the Windows Installer complete installation of
whatever it's trying to install. If you cancel it, it will obviously try
again next time.

Well then, just keep doing what you are doing each time, and maybe it will go away without you have
to do a re-install!

Better yet, call MS Product Support for help.

It's not a cop out
- you apparently have a partial install of FP (or have chosen to run certain options on 1st use) and it will not be "happy" until
you do a complete install selecting to run all from disc
(which take ~ 5 minutes)
